Right, neither KLineEdit::keyPressEvent() nor KTextEdit::Private::handleShortcut() handle the SelectAll shortcut. There are probably others that need to be added. Even the copy/cut/paste shortcuts only work in certain applications and not universally. The behavior is even more flakey when doing copy/cut/paste with text within lineedits. Also, moving application-level shortcuts to Meta-* will free up Ctrl-* shortcuts for UNIXy (see emacs, OSX) text shortcuts. *** Bug 47428 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 81221 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 81831 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** For reference, OSX's keybindings can be changed via /System/Library/Frameworks/AppKit.framework/Resources/StandardKeyBinding.dict.
