When messages in IMAP folder are marked read, the unread message count in folder list stays the same for the folder. I'm not sure, but it seems to change only with the next sync.

can you try most current version, please?
I added a patch three days ago which might fix this issue.

Sry, currently no. I downgraded back to 4.5.4.

I guess it's fixed upstream.
