Description Silver Salonen 2010-12-11 12:41:09 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.85)
OS: Linux

In KMail 1.x there was possibility to exclude folder from checking. I with KMail 2.x had it too.

Reproducible: Didn't try

It's right we can't.
Will look at if it's possible to readd it

this is absolutely essential. If you have gmail account with lots of e-mails and labels, usually many of the messages have several different labels, which means they are in several different folders, plus the "All" folder - syncing all folders in such a case doesn't make sense.
Comment 3 Silver Salonen 2012-01-31 11:01:41 UTC
In 4.8.0 the possibility is there.
Comment 4 km 2012-02-03 15:02:27 UTC
How to do it?
Comment 5 Christophe Marin 2012-02-03 15:41:24 UTC
rmb on the account name. In recent versions there is "server side subscriptions" and "manage local subscriptions"

(like in kmail1)

But unsubscribing a folder means it will be hidden from the list and inaccessible. The point is to just have an option to exclude a folder from checking when you perform "Check mail" or "Check mail in [account]".

It would be also nice to have defaults for this setting (see my bug 310247).

Please re-open.
