Description Samuel Suther 2010-12-11 11:43:08 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: Linux

Would be great if there was a small information in the krfb window which shows my own external IP.
Now if i see the dialog off ip and password i only see my internal non routable IP-Adress.

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-25-generic
Compiler: cc

The only way this can be done is with the help of an external server, e.g. http://automation.whatismyip.com/n09230945.asp
Also, NAT requires port forwarding.

If you want to know your machine's external IP I think this should be solved by other ways outside of vnc server (krfb) scope.
