Description Steffen Schloenvoigt 2010-12-02 19:42:56 UTC
Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.5.80)
OS: Linux

In the old KMail I was used to quickly move my mails by selecting them, pressing the 'M' key and typing the first letters of the target folder followed by RETURN.

At first I was really disappointed because I thought that this feature was removed completely in KMail 2 but then I found out, that only the 'M' letter is not assigned to the Action by default.

So far so good. But as I opened the dialog I noticed following issues:
* The cursor is not placed in the Input field
* When typing characters in the field, the folders are not uncollapsed
* There is no folder selected, so pressing RETURN does not work

This makes this feature now really annoying, as you now either have to use the mouse (twice) or hitting the tab key unnecessarily.

Please bring back the old functionality - I really miss it - it was such a great Power User Feature and something I always really miss when I have to e.g. use Outlook.

Best regards,
Steffen

Reproducible: Always
