Just deleting a category and closing does not cause a crash here could you give some exact steps to reproduce this? Christian, In the course of reconciling our monthly bank statements earlier this week, I deleted several duplicate categories, after which MyMoney crashed but left my database in good working order. LIke you, I could not reproduce the problem this evening when deleting a couple of other duplicated categories. Everything worked correctly this time. I suggest we mark this one as "could not reproduce the problem", and move on with life. Sorry about the bogus bug report. Thanks your your part in developing this first rate software.
