Description Philip Muškovac 2010-11-29 16:47:47 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

Currently you have a small button in the file properties dialog that you have to click on to change the file association.
Instead of using the small icon, maybe the button should say [Change...], [_ICON_ Change...] or, maybe the File Type is clickable with an ellipsis beside it and you click on the File Type or ellipsis to bring up the file type dialog.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
right click on a file -> open properties -> see the small configuration button beside the file type.

This was originally part of https://bugs.launchpad.net/hundredpapercuts/+bug/391626

Tested with oxygen as theme.

The symbol with a tooltip is the same as in klipper/kmail settings or (more or less) in widget settings.
