When the plasmoid crashes; the whole of that screen/desktop flashes black for an instant, before the crash handler kicks in. The system where the issue has been logged, is configured with two monitors displaying the desktop. This dump is from the plasmoid crashing on the right display (DVI1). It's not the first time I've seen this exact crash, but I tried to reproduce it after the plasmoid restarted, and it didn't crash (though the drop-down list didn't appear, either). [Comment from a bug triager] This seems to be a bug in the HTML rendering component of the Qt library (QtWebKit). - Could you test this URL on another browser like "rekonq" or "arora" (both using the same component) to check if they crash too ? Thanks I'll should have access to it tomorrow, so I'll give it a blast, and report back. Thanks Interestingly: Rekonq, flashes a little message, in the bottom left of the browser view, which says "Failed to load". Arora seems to parse the page, without any issues. I'm not familiar with the code...If the engines are based on the same code; could it be some kind of exception handling issue?
