Description Joerg 2010-11-26 20:56:29 UTC
Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

The problem is simple.
If i switch between two user accounts, at switch the previous screen on that user account will be shown before entering a password.
In the best world it should be blank at all time till after entering the password so that no one sees what data was entered at that screen.
I noticed this through all KDE versions and i wonder if it is intended or a bug.
It is just a security concern and not a bug.
Would be nice to have a blank screen at switching between user accounts.
On a note, i use Nvidia drivers NVIDIA 260.19.12

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It should be the same at any computer. So i am not sure how to reproduce this.

This is probably bug 183496.

maybe. are the old screen contents visible the entire time while the password is being entered or only a short flash while the dialog is coming up?
