@anne-marie disable the blur effect glBindFramebuffer(GL_FRAMEBUFFER_EXT, 0), again... -> nouveau is off the hook, i think we have to blame mesa/dri - and some sort of problem =\ 248858 is likely the same (but both duped occured on 4.5 -> blacklist?) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 257085 *** Thomas, this is with a new $KDEHOME and no effects are enabled at all. By default effects are disabled. So it happens while it tries to enable them maybe. i understood that ;-) effects & blurring are enabled by default, you'll have to actively disable the blur effect (kwin just figures that using compositing crashes it and therefore disables it on automatic restarts) if you targeted "first usage experience" this is of course a c*** situation we have to discuss ('cause the bug itself is out of our reach and we cannot do much but "not use things that are outside broken for many users") |
