Description Mathias D 2010-11-24 20:55:42 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

The search dialog in filetypes should be able to search for programs not only for types. maybe there should also be a dialogbox for witch rang the user like to search (for example: a type can have multiple programs to open with. I like to search mostly for that ones witch are on top)
I find it really frustrating to search for the different webfiletypes. I like to change the priority of rekonq or firefox for example. there are a couple of types to open with and it will be mutch easier to search just for "rekonq" --> first position, for example.
Tank you! KDE is great!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
just use the search dialog box of filetypes dialog in systemsettings ;)

Actual Results:
can't search for programs

Expected Results:
want be able to search for both, types and programs

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc

After 12 years, there doesn't seem to be any interest in implementing this feature. Closing, sorry. :)
