video showing the bug

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

I have two virtual desktops with windows on them. I change to the other desktop and click anywhere on the active (focused) window. First the whole window, or a part of it disappears. Then it starts to reappear piece by piece as various parts of it are being redrawn. I have to switch the active window, or minimize and restore it to make it reappear completely.

I'm attaching a video (620 kB) showing the issue.

Also, I'm using the binary nvidia drivers, version 260.19.21 (it happened with previous versions too).

Reproducible: Always

sounds like bug #245372
can you please check whether this is related to the slideback effect?

Yes, it's the same problem. The attached patch fixed it. Thanks.
