Description Janet 2010-11-20 15:21:10 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

When I want to change the sorting in dolphin from my standard view (sort by name, folders first, ascending) to e.g. a view to quickly see my downloaded files for today (sort by date, folders sorted in, descending - to have the newest files at the top) I have to click three times. To change back to standard view I also have to click three times in the drop down menu. For a "quick" glance I have to click six times plus 2 clicks to open the menu.

I'd really love to see an option to save sorting profiles so switching to a preferred sorting could become a one click way.

To go further this even could be combined with specific views like row aligned or column aligned.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36-0.slh.5-aptosid-686
Compiler: cc
