This is how it looks as requested but my opinion is that it's better the way it is now. The same alignment for the date in the group marker was used in the KDE3 version.
Since the groups marker is special, and does not have a grid I think that the date should not be aligned with the rest of the dates so it would be easy to spot.
So I'll close it as invalid, sorry. |

(See last entry in attached TIFF.) Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Date column should be centered everywhere.
