Description Sabine Faure 2010-11-19 23:13:18 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

When the user clicks on the 'Check Spelling' functionality nothing happens atm so I am guessing that this functionality is not implemented yet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on 'Write new Email'
- Enter a sentence including spelling mistakes in the Composer text editor (ex: Making spellling miistakes to testt the check spelling functionality)
- Open the 'Actions' tab
- Click on 'Edit'
- Click on 'Check Spelling'

Actual Results:
The tab closes but nothing more happens: no pop up dialogue proposing different spellings and no words are underlined in red either.

Expected Results:
Either a pop up dialogue proposing different spellings for mis-spelled words should appear or mis-spelled words should be underlined in red to make the user realize its mistake.

Problem on Maemo5 is the lack of packaged dictionaries, the spell checking engine is there, as well as the integration in the application.

For WinCE Andre fixed it during the last days, so no komo3 tag anymore.
