Description Diggory Hardy 2010-11-18 16:12:12 UTC
Version: 2.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

By default (I think) konqueror uses
Ctrl+N — new window
Ctrl+Shift+N / Ctrl+T — new tab
wheras konsole uses
Ctrl+Shift+N — new window
Ctrl+Shift+T — new tab

It would be nice if these shortcuts were consistent across all KDE apps by default (the konqueror ones are already consistent with Firefox, etc.). I don't believe Ctrl+T or Ctrl+N conflict with default shell shortcuts?

Reproducible: Didn't try

Oh, possibly Ctrl+Shift+N for new-tab is a shortcut I added myself (though I don't think I invented it), and hence the source of my confusion. In any case, consistent shortcuts would be nicer.
