This task is delegeate to KDirWatch fro KDELibs and digiKam database interface Gilles Caulier I can not confirm this, it is working perfectly fine. What I did to test this: 1. create a test folder in digiKam, copy some images in it 2. right-click on the album -> Open in File Manager 3. Rename folder in the file manager => digiKam updates the folder 4. Back in digiKam, press F5. => everything is still fine. Tested with digiKam 1.8.0-svn I did it again with 1.6.0 and the bug still occur. Alexandre, This file still valid using digiKam 2.x serie ? Gilles Caulier We need a fresh feedback using last digiKam 4.2.0 release Gilles Caulier This is not reproducible for digikam5.0.0-beta6. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new folder in digiKam & add some images. 2. Right-click on the album -> Open in File Manager 3. Renamed folder in File Manager. 4. Press F5 in digiKam. Folder still exists and the name is changed. Not reproducible here too... In fact we have dropped KDirWatch in favor of Qt5::QFileSystemWatcher to follow changes from media. Gilles Caulier |
