it's when update is instaled in september, that this probleme come.
it's impossible to turn off my computeur normaly.

Christophe please review if it's what you intended to say.
When I click on Kickoff -> Leave -> Shut down then nothin happens, the PC does not power off. I am obliged to power off by doing a hard shutdown or by cutting the electrical supply. This happened days ago after an update.

Christophe: did you ask your distribution for support about this? I also have Mandriva 2010 and everything is OK. Maybe you did not upgrade correctly. What repository did you get the packages from?
