Summary: Articles tab has no reload function
Product: [Applications] akregator Reporter: Wonko <wonko>
Component: generalAssignee: kdepim bugs <kdepim-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED UNMAINTAINED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Version: 1.6.5
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Description Wonko 2010-11-10 13:13:49 UTC
Version: 1.6.5 (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

The 'Reload' button is greyed out when the main, articles tab is active.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Select an article, so it is displayed in the 'Articles' tab.

Actual Results:
The 'Reload' button in the toolbar cannot be used.

Expected Results:
Sometimes I like to reload the article, especially if I have Edit Feed -> Advanced -> Load the full website when reading articles activated and want to check if additional comments have arived. Why shouldn't this be possible?

Of course I can simply open the article in a new tab and reload there if I like, so it's no big deal.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
