Version:           1.4.50 (using KDE 4.5.1) 
OS:                Linux

Since my upgrade to Kubuntu 10.10 akonadi asks for my google password again (it used to, but then the problem got solved). 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Login to kde
type in the password for kwallet

Actual Results:  
akonadi asks for google password and username

Expected Results:  
akonadi should take the password automatically from kwallet

Try removing and recreating your akonadi googledata and gcal resources. This worked for me after the update.

I have the same probleme in kde 4.10.4
I tried to remove and recreate calendar and contacts resources without succes.

Dimitros: are you sure you are having the problem with GData resource? 

If you are using native Google resources shipped with KDE (since KDE 4.9), please open a new bug report against "Google Resources" component.

GData resource is not maintained and supported anymore, thus I'm closing this bug.
