OS:                Linux

If you use dolphin for a while, without closing, sooner or later it stops to update file/folder info in status bar. It show the same info (of some file/folder) instead of hovered item.

I tryed to find steps to reproduce, but couldn't find what exactly causing this. But this always ocurs if you leave dolphin opened for a while.

Reproducible: Always

I run dolphin from konsole and the only usefull (maybe?) info is:

QObject: Cannot create children for a parent that is in a different thread.
(Parent is Soprano::Client::LocalSocketClient(0x1748728), parent's thread is QThread(0x154f4c0), current thread is KLoadFileMetaDataThread(0x2f64930)

"/usr/bin/dolphin(12656)" Soprano: "QLocalSocket::connectToServer: Connection refused"

klauncher(18125)/kio (KLauncher): SlavePool: No communication with slave.

I've just encountered this bug - I don't know how I triggered it and can't reproduce it now.

After right-clicking on a file and choosing "cut" then navigating to another directory and choosing "paste one file" the status bar stayed stuck on "foo.zip selected" and wouldn't change, no matter what I did. I could cut/copy/paste other files etc. and it didn't change. I closed the tab and opened another, and can't reproduce the bug

Using Dolphin 1.5 from KDE 4.5.4, using Fedora 13 RPMs

Can't reproduce. Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher .
