Summary: Find Next misses search term after edit
Product: [Frameworks and Libraries] kdelibs Reporter: Jos Geluk <jos>
Component: kdeuiAssignee: kdelibs bugs <kdelibs-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED
Severity: normal CC: cullmann, montel, waqar.17a
Priority: NOR
Version: 0.1
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In:

Description Jos Geluk 2010-11-06 14:16:18 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.2)
OS: Linux

Find Next after editing the message text is broken. See Steps to Reproduce.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start a new message. Enter "Stockholm Helsinki Stockholm Amsterdam". Search for Stockholm. It will highlight the first occurrence. Change that "Stockholm" to "Oslo". Now press F3 to find the next occurrence. It will highlight, not the second Stockholm, but "holm Amst". So it's off by as many characters as you deleted.

Actual Results:
Highlighted "holm Amst"

Expected Results:
it should find the second Stockholm, obviously.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc
KDE version 4.5.3 as of this morning actually, but I couldn't select that from the drop-down list.
