Description Henry C. Gernhardt, III 2010-11-05 13:23:21 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

The summary listing, when displaying a multi-day event (such as a conference, retreat, or similar), shows separate entries for each day. It is my _opinion_ that this is unnecessary clutter. As such, I was wondering if there exists/will exist an option to group multi-day events into one line on the summary sheet. If not, could anyone point me in the proper direction within the codebase such that I could investigate this on my end?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create an event which spans two or more days (crosses the midnight boundary)

Actual Results:
The event shows up twice , showing $eventname (1/$n), where $n is the number of midnight crossings.

Expected Results:
The event shows up on a single line, preferably with the date field showing "$fuzzy_startdate to $enddate", or something similar.

Again, If someone can point me in the proper direction in the codebase, I would like to look into this matter on my end.

In the current Kontact (5.20.2), multi-day events are shown once.
