hi guys,
if I work with 3d effects (ie. for changing workspaces), my desktop theme is disabled. I can use the desktop theme only with xrender, but than 3d effect won't work. 
Is there a solution for it?

Beside that point: great work! Just love KDE!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
opengl: 3d + but no theme; switching to xrender: theme but no 3d; switching back not possible; than I get the message "Composite not supported" like cited by others above. BY typing "rm .kde/share/config/kwin*" (a solution I found in a forum) via konsole I can set back and start all over again with same results. 
After doing that a few times I remembered the definition of insanity, so here is the bug report!

I'd like to combine my fav desktop theme with 3d effects as I did in all KDE4 versions before that last one.

Can you explain "my desktop theme is disabled"? Maybe add a screen shot if you are not sure how to explain it.
