Description Martin 2010-10-31 15:39:01 UTC
Version: 2.2 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Cells with format set to "time" are not saved, they contain zero after reloading the document. In uncompressed format one can see the values are saved as zeroes. Content of all the cells with this format are destroyed in previously saved documents if opened and saved again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open new empty spreadsheet, right click on a cell, choose "cell format" set it to time, leave other option as is (time format as "system"), click OK. Enter any time value, containing hours and minutes (eg. 10:24) Save the document and close kspread. Open kspread again, load the file. The cell reads 00:00:00.

Actual Results:
Data loss - this bug destroys contents of previously saved documents with time-formatted cells.

Expected Results:
Time should be saved correctly. If entered 10:24, the cell should contain 10:24 (or 10:24:00 or w/e based on actual format.)

Example file, column F and G was used to enter the time values.

This was a new file created by version of kspread reported. This bug also affects pre-existing files.
