Description Ralf Jung 2010-10-29 14:01:43 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set up an inbox as normal (not disconnected) IMAP and receive some mail - naturally it's much more noticeable for large mails.

Actual Results:
The new mail is downloaded and then re-uploaded to the server - as can be seen both in the progress notification at the bottom, the time it takes to update the inbox, and the upload almost blocking the rest of my internet connection when getting a 10MB mail.

Expected Results:
The mail should be displayed, maybe downloaded completely (preferably only the message, not the attachments), but it should definitely not be uploaded.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-22-generic
Compiler: cc

I am having this behaviour with all of my three IMAP accounts, on three completely different servers.

This is still happening with KDE 4.6.2, KDEPIM 4.4.9 and KMail 1.13.5.

I am not using KMail anymore, and KMail 1 is obsolete anyway, so closing this.
