Description g111 2010-10-29 10:34:55 UTC
Version: 2.4.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

If I resize the konsole window bigger and close the window, the next opened konsole will be opened in this bigger size, too. I would like to have all initial konsole windows be opened the same normal size.

So IMHO it would be a good feature to store the window-size with the konsole-profile. IIRC this was the case in KDE3.

If some people think that the current behaviour is the preferred one, it should be configurable in the profile, e.g. in the advanced tab with a checkbox "Store current window size as initial window size".

Reproducible: Didn't try

The sub menu "Advanced" lets you choose a lot of options (KDE 4.5.2).

Ok, thank you. This is a good idea that I did forget about. I gave it a try and it works.

So the question is if the initial feature requests still remains, because one could like to give different profiles different window sizes. Maybe you can configure this via the advanced settings, too, but a better way for a user to find this possibility might be the profile configuration.

Thanks,
Gert
