Upon further testing, it doesn't matter what working color space I choose. Importing a DNG and then saving it as a TIF file always generates a horrible gray embossed thing with no color profile attached. I cannot reproduce this problem, I'm getting a correct 16bit TIFF with embedded profile. I have only a very limited DNG collection, so you may want to provide a picture for testing. Sure, here's one from my Pentax K-7 that always gives me these results: http://www.friendlyphotozone.com/tmp/GORE4269.DNG (still uploading, should be there by 9:45pm EDT) Frank, I still valid with 2.x release ? Gilles Caulier Frank, This entry still valid using digiKam 3.5.0 ? Gilles Caulier This problem still reproducible with digiKam 5.0.0 ? Gilles Caulier digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published: https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/ We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version. Best Regards Gilles Caulier Not reproducible using digiKam 7.3.0 and exiv2 0.27.4 Importing DNG file with prophoto color profile embed this one in TIFF file after conversion. https://i.imgur.com/cMjEbDB.png DNG files are taken from here : https://www.photographyblog.com/previews/honor_view20_photos Gilles Caulier |
