In version of 27-10-10, e.g. in email-list-view, typing on the keyboard does not lead to a filtered list (not even the filter-input field opens).

Instead it should filter list items as you type.

SVN commit 1194940 by tilladam:

Finish the refactoring that pulled the model creation into the base class.

Also re-enable the as-you-type filtering, since the model stack no
longer crashes after Stephen's earlier fixes.

In the mail list the type filter works. It opens a text field and filters the mails.
