[Comment from a bug triager] The crash is related to a font issue (and may be the Qt library) - Is this still happening with an updated KDE SC and Qt 4.7.x ? - Which sites were crashing Konqueror ? - Did you have some unusual font settings ? Regards Yes it is, well maybe even worse, sometimes my computer freezes when I am using Konqueror, especially when I just leave my computer. It never freezes my computer when I am using Konqueror. Well this should be added as a new bug, so... Anyways, no it doesn't anymore. No, I have none, just the default. *** Bug 267226 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** from bug 267226 -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: just browsing some page in subscribed RSS. It just happens once a day or so. I think it may be related to bug 215258. The crash can be reproduced some of the time. Created attachment 57735 [details]

akregator (1.6.6) on KDE Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) using Qt 4.7.2
- What I was doing when the application crashed: Opening article. Note that I reported same problem before (marked as duplicate) and I switched to standard KHTML backend after many crashed with WebKit backend - now I'm getting crash again.

My distro is also ArchLinux, but I cannot reproduce this issue in either one of the rendering engines. Perhaps there is some sort of font cache corrpution on your systems ? Have you tried to remove the font cache located in your home directory ? It's fixed. |
