Description Leonardo 2010-10-15 11:11:13 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I often need to run programs, especially (but non only) Dolphin and Kate as root. I know there's kdesu but a nice menu item would be much better, faster and less awkward to use. If it gets in the way it could be shown only if the user right clicks the program (whether in dolphin or folderview etc etc) with the shift key pressed down.

Reproducible: Didn't try

You can add the kdesu command to a menu item. Simply allowing _any_ program to run as root is not a good idea.
