When I startup KMail2 an error-massage comes and kmail terminates:
"KMail encountered a fatal error and will terminate now.
The error was:
Could not fetch root collection of resource akonadi_maildir_resource_1."
In the background I can see kmail fetching the collection and emails correctly and if I ignore the message on top of the window I can use kmail as if no error-message were there...

Hej Anton,

is it still reproducible with current trunk version (4.6beta)?
Is you maildir resource configured correctly (points to the right directory) and is it in online modus? (Can be checked in akonadiconsole, in the 'Agent' tab).

Sorry for never again answering...

This bug doesn't happen anymore for ages...
I reinstalled and reconfigured Akonadi/KMail about 3 times since then, though. I guess it can be closed.
