Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I find when I transfer a file to a remote site to which I have username/password access I seem to have no control over whether
Konqueror transfers it in ASCII or binary. I need to transfer Perl CGI in
ASCII otherwise the script will not work. It would be nice to have a way to tell Konqueror to always transfer certain files in ASCII and others in binary as there is for most conventional ftp clients. At present
Konqueror is transferring in binary only.
