Description Skippy le Grand Gourou 2010-10-10 13:01:30 UTC
Version: 2.0.85 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

Sometimes, probably after hitting some yet unknown key, Kile changes the writing mode for the current line to reverse mode. That is, suddenly you write from right to left instead of left to right. You can still write normally in the rest of the document, but in this line the mode will always be reverse from now on.

In the case it is a wanted behaviour, there should be some information to mark this line or the writing mode to reverse, either in the status bar (as the INS/OVR), in the margin of the concerned line, or both. Also, a way to disable this feature should appear on the edit menu.

In the case it is not a wanted behaviour, let me know which informations could be relevant (besides the key I hit to enable this mode, which I will provide as soon as I get it). I'm using Kile in a Gnome 2.30.0 environment, Fedora 13, kernel 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686, and closing then reopening Kile solves the issue.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Just thought to check shortcuts : no enabled shortcut within Kile seems to be relevant.
