Description Dj YB 2010-10-10 09:20:42 UTC
Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.4.6)
OS: Linux

I have added a calendar with the line
X-WR-TIMEZONE:US/Eastern

yet events times are not shown in the local time (Asia/Jerusalem) but in the remote time, as if I am in a US/Eastern time zone.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
add X-WR-TIMEZONE:US/Eastern

Expected Results:
events time offset according to local time zone.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-56.fc13.i686.PAE
Compiler: gcc

Please create a bug report for the application that created that ics file, saying that you want a way to export an rfc2445 compliant calendar file.

Not all applications understand X-WR-TIMEZONE.
