Description dE 2010-10-09 13:27:40 UTC
Version: 2.5.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

First, I don't know where to place this feature request.

KDE should have a general feature by which if one executes shell scripts by running it without console, the output from the standard output will pop up as information messages. In addition the text that goes through stderr will appear as an error and anything which's required by the shell script as an input (stdin), will make KDE popup an input dialog box.

This feature may be implemented though another program (which will call the shell script) which converts the stdin, stdout and stderr to the corresponding dialog.

Reproducible: Didn't try
