Opening https:// links in kmail or konversation is not possible but works with 4.5.1.

I also get a KIOExec notification which tells me that the file was copied.

It was confirmed on #opensuse-kde.

It is only KDE app -> Firefox; KDE app -> Konqueror works.

confirming same issue with 4.5.2 vs 4.5.1.

fwiw, it's on openSUSE 11.3.

since cropped up at abt the same time, wondering if at all related to:

actually, here:

KDE app -> 'mozillafirefox'   FAILS  (it's been set to this for ages ...)
KDE app -> 'konqueror'        OK

but,

KDE app -> 'firefox'          OK
