[Comment from a bug triager] The backtrace seems related to the crash on bug 247311, it may be related. Regards [Comment from a bug triager] Bug 249923 could be related too. From bug 255147: -- Information about the crash: I was attempting to open a link for a game called DBZ Kart from http://java-gaming.com/game/9930/Duder_Dilemma/ From bug 257196: - What I was doing when the application crashed: Downloaded an AIR application file from http://www.rome.adobe.com/ and when KGet finished and the page reloaded itself, rekonq crashed. From bug 257820: - What I was doing when the application crashed: In wep page click a link rekonq crash very often. This report is made for crash web page www.aamulehti.fi Note: most of those reports are from KDE SC 4.5.1 + Qt 4.7.0 *** Bug 254142 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 255147 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 257196 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 257820 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** [Comment from a bug triager] From bug 257730: I went to google.com/chrome to download the 64bit .deb version of google chrome, for my laptop. I click the "Download Google Chrome" button and get to the "Please select your download package:" page. I select the "64 bit .deb (For Debian/Ubuntu)" and click the "Accept and Install" button. I get the rekonq popup window asking "Open https://dl-ssl.google.com/linux/dir...google-chrome-stable_current_amd4.deb" I'm given the option to Save As, Open or Cancel. At this point, no matter what option I click, rekonq crashes. From bug 253819: - What I was doing when the application crashed: Was downloading google-chrome 64bit from google website and when hit save it crashed. Using ubuntu Maverick. From bug 255125: -- Information about the crash: I was working on Drupal administration tasks, and when clicking some button the browser crashed. This has happened before when clicking some other link or button, but happens inconsistently (the same button usually works, but then suddenly crashes). *** Bug 255125 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 253819 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 257730 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The problem was in kdewebkit which is part of kdelibs. The issue has been addressed for KDE 4.6 and any future releases of KDE 4.5.x. [Comment from a bug triager] @Dawit: is bug 247311 fixed too for KDE SC 4.6 ? (similar/same trace) Regards (In reply to comment #12) > [Comment from a bug triager] > @Dawit: is bug 247311 fixed too for KDE SC 4.6 ? (similar/same trace) > Regards Yes, it is. If the backtrace shows the cause of the crash is the following: Thread 1 (Thread 0x7ff89055d760 (LWP 23691)): [KCrash Handler] #6 0x00007ff8701e2619 in WebCore::QNetworkReplyHandler::forwardData (this=0x104c8f0) at platform/network/qt/QNetworkReplyHandler.cpp:399 and the user is using QtWebKit that comes as part of Qt 4.7.x, i.e. they did not compile their own version of QtWebKit from git, then the issue has already been addressed in KDE version 4.5.4 and up, not only KDE 4.6. That is the fix has already been back ported... *** Bug 247311 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 260722 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 264843 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 263462 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 263448 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 262215 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 262208 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 261909 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 258313 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 253502 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 57660 [details]
