Simply use the price editor to add a price for the date and symbol in question. There's no need to do this via online updates. You can perform this task manually. In case you have no means to retrieve an accurate price information for the symbol/date combination, you can simply use '1' as the price which will give some false results if you run certain reports but will avoid the warning while saving to disk. Hope that helps. Thanks, but that does not solve my problem. The problem is that the "problematic" securities *do NOT appear* in the price editor in the first place. Once I can access these from the price editor, I could easily set arbitrary prices. Please advise! Click the 'New' button. Select your security and the currency it is denominated in as well as a date. Click 'OK' which opens the dialog to add the price information. Add the price, click 'OK' and you're set. Note: Make sure to use a date prior to the first purchase date you have on file. The investment securities are listed on top of all the currencies, just in case you don't find your security. If that does not help, please let us know. |
