still in 4.5.3 such mails are at the wrong end of the sorted list - I use date descending to have the newest mails on top. very enoying, because I tend to miss new mails or discover them too late. I can confirm this bug for KDE 4.5.4/Kmail 1.13.5/FC 14. After changing into a new IMAP folder some mails are displayed with the following parameter: Subject .... : (No Subject) Receiver ... : Unknown Date ....... : 1970-01-01 01:00:00 Size ....... : 2.4 KiB (correct size) Choosing "Check Mail in this folder" (aka. F5) doesn't help. The invalid values are still there. Clicking on the message will show the message with a correct subject, Receiver, Date etc... in the main panel but not in the message list. If you do a resort (clicking on "Subject", "Date" or "Size" etc...) the entries in the message list will restore to the normal values. same on OpenSuSE Version 1.13.5 Unter KDE 4.5.4 (KDE 4.5.4) "release 9" Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback. |
