Description Shane 2010-09-28 23:36:14 UTC
Version: latest git snapshot (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

On certain sites, the biggest one I know being Digg.com, even after saving the username and password, there is no way to retrieve and reuse them in the event that the user has to log in again.

This problem is worse for sites that do not store cookies to automatically log in on each visit. My most frequent site is hattrick.org. Each time I visit the site I save the password and each time I go back there is no way to retrieve/use it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
-Log into digg.com
-Save password
-Log out of digg.com
-Navigate to digg.com
-Click sign in...

Actual Results:
No username or password in the entry fields and no way to retrieve the saved password.

Expected Results:
-Saved username and password should be present in the entry fields, and/or
-An interface should be available to select from previously stored passwords.

Yes, it is using at least rekonq 0.8.x, qtwebkit 2.2.x AND kdelibs 4.8.x
Comment 4 Andrea Diamantini 2012-02-02 15:56:49 UTC
Sorry, fixed in kdelibs. Resolved upstream
