After scanning a document Xsane version 0.996 closes when the scan slit of HP Scanjet 3500c arrives at top position without saving or invoking other applications. The scanned document is lost.

Under Windows Xp professional SP3 with HP drivers the Scanner HP Scanjet 3500 c works very fine. (on the same machine)
