Description Dready 2010-09-27 10:02:46 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

This is annoying : when I want to end my session, and I haven't used kmail during the session, kmail asks for the kwallet password : so the kde logout step takes so much time

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
setup kmail with several accounts (imap & disconnected ilmap for me). Use kwallet to store password informations. Logout. Login, do whatever you want on KDE withour using kmail/kwallet. Logout using the K-menu entry.

Actual Results:
The kwallet popup shows saying that kmail want to access the kwallet informations.

Expected Results:
because I logout I don't want kmail to check emails or send a disconnect message to the mail servers.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
