Description Martin Tlustos 2010-09-21 10:43:36 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

It would be great if kaddressbook could filter out doublettes. Somehow those always happen to come up, but it is a lot of work to clean them up, especially in big addressbooks (mine has around 1,500 entries!). Some web-based addressbooks have that feature (like google), but others don't, so implementing this in kaddressbook would really fill a gap!

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-25-generic
Compiler: cc

I fully support this idea....and even better if kaddressbook does not double up addresses by himself, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=266147

Just found it in the newest version (KDE Neon packages).
