Description Dj YB 2010-09-20 00:26:27 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

global notifications settings for different use modes.
for example
                      Visual Notifications Aural Notifications
audio player running: [X] [ ]
video player running: [ ] [ ]
full screen application: [ ] [X]

I am sure this is just a fraction of the flexibility possible in the notifications system.

Thanks,
YB.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.6-54.fc13.i686.PAE
Compiler: gcc

In fact this is basically implemented in Plasma 5.16 now: when there's full-screen content (app, video player etc), notification pop-ups are suppressed unless they are marked as having "Critical" importance.

For any additional requests, let's open new bugs. Thanks!
