Description Nicofo 2010-09-17 20:20:03 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

When the "Only newest packages" filter is enabled, the packages list (after a "Find by name" for instance) still shows 2 different versions of a same package in some circumstances.

1) if the package is not installed: it works well (ie only the newest is presented)
2) if the package is already installed: it presents the installed package AND the previous version

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
I think that kpackagekit should NOT display the PREVIOUS version of a package if it is already installed in the latest version.

It should display 2 versions of a package only if:
1) the package is installed
2) a newer version is available

I use kpackagekit-0.6.1-1.fc13.i686
