Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Hello,
I have compiled KDE with libusb support, but I cannot see my mouse in the Mouse configuration module. It looks like it is not supported. What I need to provide to have my mouse working? At least battery status interesting me.

Comment 1 Elias Probst 2014-03-16 12:13:43 UTC
There was a bug in the battery monitor which caused the battery status of devices not to be shown when they were connected after the startup of plasma-desktop.

This was addressed in bug#324847

In case this doesn't fix your issue, it is more likely to be a upower or Kernel issue, e.g.:

- too old upower version, which doesn't support Logitech HIDs yet. See also: http://julien.danjou.info/blog/tags/logitech.html
- CONFIG_HID_LOGITECH not enabled in your Kernel
