Description Felix Wolfsteller 2010-09-15 14:36:22 UTC
KJots Mobile is probably the only kontact mobile app in which item actions (move, copy, delete) can be invoked from the main tree/list-view.

The list itself gives no feedback which note will be affected though (but buttons are greyed out when none is selected).

To reproduce,
1) view a folder with notes inside and
2) open "Actions" flap->Edit.
3) Then, unflap and retouch the folder to open maintenance view.
4) In maintenance view, select a note, but go back to main view.
5) Redo (2), you can now delete a note.

Observed in version 4:4.5~20100910.1175286-1maemo5.1174786 .

Possible solutions include:

1) Do not allow item actions (copy, move, delete) from main view.
2) Have a selection indicator in main view.

In all cases, a consistent approach across the kontakt mobile applications should be found.

Does this still happen for you? I can't reproduce on an N900 here.

Felix, can you still reproduce? As far as I can see there are no item specific actions in the action flap anymore...

it's gone in 4:4.6~20101129.1202016-1maemo1.1202030
