Description David Goodenough 2010-09-15 12:37:39 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

When kmail is instructed to remove duplicates, if any of the duplicates are marked as read then the resulting mail should be marked read. Likewise if any of the duplicates had a response, that response should be attache to the resulting mail. As an aside, it would also be good to have a filter which removed duplicates when mail is being fetched.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Receive duplicate mail, read the first one, remove duplicates and the remaining one will be marked unread. Or for responses, respond to the first and then remove duplicates, the response will have disappeared.

Actual Results:
the resulting mail is marked unread or the response will have gone

Expected Results:
the resulting mail should be marked read, and the response should remain

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2
