Description Charles-Antoine Couret 2010-09-10 21:43:51 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I use Fedora 14 with KDE 4.5.x.
And I have a BÉPO-keymap but KDM use the QWERTY-keymap… And it's impossible to change this. TTY use AZERTY-keymap and GNOME the BÉPO-keymap (and GDM also).

It's very binding for the passwords…

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Install Fedora and KDE. To make KDM the default logger and use it.

Actual Results:
I don't have the good keymap, KDE use the good keymap but no KDM.

Expected Results:
Use the KDE-keymap.

Fedora 14 x86_64

in fact, kdm is the only one which *does* respect the default keymap (which is what you configured (or didn't) in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
